I initially read the book, "Raising Resilient Kids" by Rhonda Spencer-Hang, to make sure I'm raising my kids with good habits and as healthy as possible. But then, it got me thinking - could these principles that she discussed work on adults' resiliency too? What drew me in was that she studied centenarians (people who live past 100 years old) and what their lives were like. What if we could all apply those same habits and practices to our lives as well?
In this episode I'm going over my top books for relationships, personal development and finances! These are books that have helped me when I was single in my early 20s and even help me now in my 30s married with kids. They have helped me build the relationships I've wanted with my husband and children, grow the business with a mindset of abundance and helped me in my journey to becoming the type of person I want to be.
On this episode of The Yegi Project, our guest is Diane Randall, a whole living consultant and host of the podcast 'Plant Based Curious.' Twenty years ago, after being told by her doctor that her stressful life was pointing her in the direction of a heart attack, she decided to take her health and wellness into her own hands. Now she helps others live healthier while simultaneously creating the lifestyle they truly love.
After realizing that her corporate job was giving her anxiety and negatively impacting her work/life balance, she and her boyfriend - now husband - decided to quit their jobs without a back-up plan. Even when things didn’t go according to plan post quitting, she still found a way to push through the obstacles and successfully start multiple businesses all while having the freedom to travel whenever and wherever she wants.
It's officially Spring! A lot of spring cleaning has been happening in my home and in the office, and I wanted to show you how I am spring cleaning my habits as well. I've developed a few bad habits and practices since having kids so I want to set up systems in my house that make sure me and my family are healthy, productive and happy. I'm also trying to re-define the "type" of person I am in order to move past any limitations I've put on myself and what I can accomplish.
In this episode, Yegi talks about her current project: simplifying her life and business. All of us have gotten caught up in trying anything and everything in business and in life, but by doing more and more we may actually be achieving less. Going back to the basics is sometimes needed in order to fully understand what is and isn't working and we hope this episode helps you reflect on your current situation.
Listen as Yegi explores a topic that we all collectively don't understand: time. Every year, time seems to go by faster and we never seem to have enough of it. There's many reasons why you may feel like time is getting away from you, and this episode may help you understand why you are feeling the way you are, and what you can potentially do about it.
In this episode, I reflect on 2022 and go over what I learned throughout the year and what I'm planning on doing differently in 2023. I also talk about potential baby plans, what I'm going to change for my mental and physical health and what I'm planning business wise in the future.
In this solo episode, it's all about habits! Inspired by "Tiny Habits" by BJ Fogg, Yegi talks about her struggles lately maintaining good habits and takes us step by step on how we can build good habits & get rid of bad habits in a very realistic way!
In this episode, we have entrepreneur, Ani Ifiktchyan, LCSW, on to talk about opening her own private practice and becoming an entrepreneur while pregnant, the importance of therapy and mental health as a business owner, why we procrastinate and if personality has anything to do with it.
